How do I remove the vocals from a song?

Is the instrumental clean enough for karaoke?
On most well-mixed songs, yes. Faint traces of the voice can remain where it's very loud or drenched in reverb, so listen before you download. You can also download the vocals on their own to check what was taken out.

How long can the song be?
Videos can be up to 500MB. Splitting works on up to 5 minutes at a time (2 minutes on browsers that can't use your graphics chip), so trim a long video to the song first.
Why does the first split download something?
The separation engine runs on your device, so the first split saves it to your browser (about 172MB, once). Wi-Fi is recommended for that first time.
