Hit Rec again to overdub. Undo takes the last layer off. With Pro, Tape FX adds a tape stop, echo, wobble and lo-fi.

Is this beat maker free?
Yes. No account and no sign-up, on a computer or a phone. Pro adds Chop, Tape FX, an 808, an Arp, three more drum kits and Download.
Can I download my beat?
With Pro. Download renders one pass of the loop on your device and saves a zip: the mix and a WAV per instrument, named after its card, ready for any music software. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I chop a sample from a song or a video?
Yes, with Pro. Add Chop and load a song or a video, or pick one from Your files. It's cut at its hits onto 16 pads (or into even slices), and you play and record them like drum pads.
Can I jam over a song or a stem?
Yes. Add Song loop and load a track. Set its tempo, tap the waveform to pick the part to loop, and it plays in time with your beat. Split a song first to jam over just its drums, bass or vocals.
Which keys play what?
Space plays and stops. 1234, QWER, ASDF and ZXCV play the pads; the middle row plays the keyboard. Enter records, Backspace undoes. Press ? for the full list.
Is anything recorded or uploaded?
No. Every sound is synthesized on your device, nothing uses the microphone, and files you load stay in memory and are never uploaded. Your stage is kept in this browser; loaded audio isn't, so load it again after a reload.
